The MidNite Solar 300V DC Surge Protector Device (MNSPD) is a UL1449 rev3 Type 2 device with a 4X outdoor rating, suitable for outdoor use. It provides protection for Classic and other charge controllers, off-grid PV combiners, and 120/240 VAC circuits. This SPD works effectively with all DC circuits up to 300 volts and 120/240 VAC circuits. The key difference between the AC and DC models lies in how the LEDs are powered, while the protection functionality remains identical. Features include a 5-year warranty, ETL listing for the U.S. and Canada, and American manufacturing.
