The MidNite Solar 600V Surge Protector Device (MNSPD) is a UL1449 rev3 Type 2 device with a Type 4X outdoor rating, making it suitable for outdoor use. It safeguards grid-tie PV combiners and inverter input circuits. Designed for both AC and DC systems, the MNSPD provides protection for service panels, load centers, or any electronic device it is connected to. Key features include a 5-year warranty, ETL listing for the U.S. and Canada, and American manufacturing.
