Using technology from the EG4 3kW All-in-One Solar Inverter, the EG4 MPPT100-48HV is a simple, affordable, yet reliable solar charge controller MPPT(Maximum Power Point Tracking).

The EG4 MPPT100-48HV solar charge controller extracts the maximum available power from your PV modules and safely converts it to a lower voltage to charge your battery bank. Optimize your new or existing solar power system by adding this unit and take advantage of additional solar harvesting capabilities.

Powerful PV array MPPT voltage range - No need for combiner boxes

  • Max open-circuit voltage of 500VDC
  • 5500W max usable solar panel PV array power when combining 2 strings with a branch connector
  • 22A max PV string current

100A max charging current for quick battery charging rates - Adjustable from 0A-100A(Default 80A).

  • Capable of charging a 5.12kWh EG4 battery in ~1 hour @ 100A
  • Recommended operating usage: 80A total or 30A per battery to maintain battery lifespan

EG4 Electronics offers a 10-year Full Parts Replacement or Full Product Replacement Warranty from the date of the battery purchase.  Your warranty must be registered within the first year of purchase to remain valid. If you choose not to register, your warranty may be invalidated. This limited warranty is to the original purchaser of the product and is not transferable to any other person or entity. All parts exchanges are covered during the warranty period. Outside of the continental US, replacement shipping charges may apply.

Warranty Exclusions - EG4 Electronics has no obligation under this limited warranty for product subjected to the following conditions (including but not limited to):  

  • Damages incurred during installation or removal 
  • Damages caused by mishandling the product or inappropriate environmental exposure 
  • Damages caused by improper maintenance 
  • Tampering, altering, and/or disassembly of the product
  • Using product in applications other than what the manufacturer intended
  • Lightning, fire, flood, or acts of God
  • Any product with a serial number that has been altered, defaced, or removed
  • Damages incurred from voltage or current spikes due to open-loop lithium battery communications

  • Shipping Times

Shipping times vary from 3-7 business days for items shipped via parcel and 4-11 business days for items shipped via freight.

  • Backorders

Orders are processed on a first come first serve basis. In the rare case that your item is on backorder, we will reach out to you via e-mail with the options on how we can proceed.

Estimated ship dates for backordered items will always be provided. However, please note that the dates provided are “estimates” and may change due to additional delays and demand.

  • Sales Tax

Currently, sales tax is only applied to orders shipped to Wyoming. Orders shipped to other states are 100% tax-free, so you can enjoy extra savings!

  • Cancellations
