Victron BMV-702 Temp Sensor

This Victron battery temperature sensor allows the second channel of the BMV-702 or BMV-712 battery monitors to be used for battery temperature measurement instead of monitoring the voltage of an auxiliary battery. The BMV can store the temperature readings in its historical data store. It comes with a short lead which plugs into the circuit board on the smart shunt.

  • Provides accurate battery temperature readings to the BMV-702 and BMV-712 monitors.
  • Enables the monitors to store temperature data in their historical logs.
  • Connects directly to the battery monitor's shunt via a short lead.
  • This sensor must be installed on the positive battery terminal, as it serves both as a temperature sensor and provides the positive voltage signal to the shunt.
